Valdosta - A South Georgia motel was held up at gunpoint over the weekend.
Early Sunday morning, a man walked into the Jolly Inn on Ellis Drive in Valdosta and pointed a gun at the clerk. He took an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Howard Johnson motel was robbed last Tuesday night, and police think the two could be connected. "They think there might be one, of course we say that from the stand point that its an initial investigation, I don't want to mislead anybody, but we're certainly looking at that," said Captain Brian Childress.
