Big Pig Jig gets underway in Vienna

October 1, 2004

Vienna - Louisiana native Corey Futch says "LSU is going to take it tomorrow." While Georgia and LSU will be battling it out in Athens, some fans are taking it to the grill at the Big Pig Jig in Vienna.

Futch claims "We're going to take it serious, Were out here to win," but winning takes a lot of hard work. Danny Cape explains "We're going to go ahead and marinate our baby back ribs and have them ready to go on the grill at six AM.

These cooks are full with a love for barbecuing that brings them back year after year. Detson Adams explains " I just love just cooking, just cooking the food and seeing the smile on people's face when they come by and eat our food."

Judging begins Saturday at 10:00 AM.
