Americus-- In recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Sumter Regional Hospital's Radiology Department is offering mammograms for $75.00, cash only.
This will include the Radiologist's reading fee and the computer-aided diagnosis system (CAD). The CAD system compares the images to a database of more than 4,000 cancers, flagging suspicious areas for additional review by the Radiologist.
Appointments must be scheduled before October 31, 2004.
Physician orders are not required. However, your results will be sent to your physician.
