Albany --A South Georgia church group hopes to bring medical aid to West Africa and they need your help.
Members of Rhema Word International Ministries held a garage sales this morning in Albany to raise money to send 15 people to Ghana including ministers, nurses, and a physician. The group will help provide primary medical care.
"We are about helping people and we went there last year and saw that there was a great need in that area and we wanted to provide that service," says Maple Williams of Rhema Word Ministries.
It cost about $3,000 a person for the 2 week trip. They've already raised half the money and they will continue to raise money until they depart in November.
