Albany-Ivan chased nearly 1,300 Marine Aviation students from Pensacola to Albany's Marine Base.

The Marines evacuated Tuesday. All week, they've had to find ways to keep themselves entertained.

Aviation Student, Dean English says "We've been playing ping pong, a lot of people have been catching up on sleep because we don't get too much while we're in training, going to the PX, going bowling." "All in all, we can't complain. It's better than being in Iraq, that's for sure, "explained Michael Calia, also an aviation student.

Tonight, the Marines enjoyed a hot meal catered by Whites Seafood and Barbecue. Because of widespread damage in Pensacola, the troops probably won't return to the Naval Air Station there until late next week.
