Blues musician sends sparks flying

September 17, 2004

Thomasville - So is one blues musician from Panama City. He's in Thomasville this weekend for a concert at Lola's eatery.

Slim Fatz says he's glad to be somewhere with electricity and hopes to make sparks fly at the concert. "Well, not many people play with the fancy finger style anymore. They call it classical blues or delta blue sand there's not many folks that can do it anymore and I still could," says Slim Fatz.

Doors open tomorrow at 7 PM. Tickets for the concert are almost sold out, but there are a few spots left. Call 551-9224 for more information.
