Albany -- A trial on the lawsuit the Dougherty County Sheriff filed against the county has been postponed again.
Sheriff Jamil Saba sued the county for slashing his budget by 335-thousand dollars. A judge ruled in his favor, but the county attorney appealed and asked for a jury trial.
Sheriff Saba said "A lot of this money is just being thrown away. I think we could have settled this thing a long time ago, and saved a lot of money."
Judge Ronnie Lane will decide when the trial will be held. The Sheriff's lawyer has asked that the trial start October 25th.
