Wrong turn causes train wreck

September 8, 2004

Valdosta - A wrong turn turned into a potentially deadly crash.

Twenty-five year old Adam Marsh accidentally turned onto the railroad tracks on Baytree Road in Valdosta Tuesday night, thinking it was a street. When his car stalled on the tracks, he got out to call a wrecker.

While he was gone, a train slammed into the vehicle.

Marsh is charged with D.U.I., making an improper left turn, and failure to report an accident.
