Americus game moved to Ellaville

September 3, 2004

Americus-  Americus-Sumter High's game on Friday night against Southwest Macon has been moved to Schley County High School.

Americus-Sumter head coach Bill Clark says smoke from a fire at cold storage company is the reason why the game is being moved from the old Sumter County High stadium where the Panthers have been playing their home games until work at Finklea-Robinson Field is completed.

Americus-Sumter and Southwest Macon will kick off at 7:30pm at Schley County High School in Ellaville.
