Mitchell County - While battling a house fire, firefighters discover supplies in and around the house that could be linked to a meth lab.

A mobile home that caught fire Wednesday morning on Register Road and US 19 in Mitchell County is now destroyed.

Autry State Prison Firefighters say the house was empty when they arrived. Fire Chief Derris Delk says, "It is my understanding there were people here this morning before when the fire started, but no one was here when we got here."

State Fire Marshals and Mitchell County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating the fire.

No arrests have been made.
