Albany - The Gillionville Road widening project is once again delayed.
The Georgia Department of Transportation thought the project would be complete by Thursday, but that has changed.
Reeves Construction Company says rain has pushed the opening date to late next week, of course, weather permitting.
The five lane project was supposed to be finished December of last year, but the company was granted an extension.
Reeves Construction is still being fined $450 everyday, which started June 8th.
