Valdosta - A South Georgia town wants your input on transportation issues.

The Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Planning Organization is asking residents to fill out a new transportation survey. The collected information will be used to create the metro area's long range transportation plan.

"We're looking at not only road improvements, but many other issues like freight movements through our community as well," said Daniel McGee.

The surveys can be completed on line on the Lowndes County, city of Valdosta, and South Georgia Rural Development Center web sites. The last day to give your input is September 30th.
