Albany -The Matchmaker Conference for women and minority business owners was held at the Albany Civic Center today.

The event combined large businesses with small businesses to buy and sell services and products to one another.

Director of the Small Businesses office, Pinky Douglas said "We recognize vendors, minority and women owned businesses who've won some contracts, have done some great things, so they're getting awards. We're also recognizing public and private sectors who also support minority programs."

This year's Matchmaker conference is part of National Minority Enterprise Week.
