Lee County- A Southwest Georgian paid $100 for a brand new John Deere Tractor Thursday night.
The Lee County Chamber of Commerce held its annual reverse tractor raffle. It cost $100 to try to get your number picked last. That also included a dinner for two and the chance to win many other items through a live and silent auction. The money raised goes to work for Lee Countians.
"We've got all kinds of marketing ideas that we need some funds for. We've got community and economic development where the money will go," said Becky Belcher, marketing director with the Lee County Chamber of Commerce. "So everything raised tonight will go right back into the people's hands."
Chris Hurst of Lee County won the John Deere Tractor.
