Ocilla- 31 year old Floyd Nixon, of Abbeville, crashed his pick-up truck into a column at the front entrance of the Irwin County hospital late Friday night.
Deputies say Nixon refused to stop during a routine traffic check. He is charged with several felonies including aggravated assault on a peace officer, criminal damage to property and interference with government property.
Nixon is also charged with DUI and a number of traffic violations.
