Florida murder suspect caught after chase

August 20, 2004

Hamilton County, Florida - A Florida murder suspect is caught after leading South Georgia police on a high speed chase.

A Lowndes County deputy stopped Jeremy Henry on I-75 early Friday morning for a seatbelt violation. Henry got out of the car, then jumped back in and took off.

Deputies chased him into Hamilton County Florida, where they had spike strips ready to flatten his tires.

"It turns out he was wanted out of Pasco County Florida on two counts of murder," said Sheriff Ashley Paulk.

A passenger in the car, Angel Brooks, was also taken into custody for eluding an officer.
