Albany -- South Georgia drug agents are glad to see state leaders in the fight against methamphetamine.

Meth labs like this are now commonplace in Georgia. It's such a problem, the governor held a two day summit in Atlanta on meth.

Albany Dougherty Drug Squad Commander Bill Berry says agents need all the help they can get. Berry said "Maybe some new procedures or some more equipment will be out there, or maybe they'll start changing some of the laws that govern these chemicals and the process."

Meth lab busts in Georgia are up more than 100 percent since 2000.
