Turner County-- A high speed chase on I-75 lands a Kentucky man in jail.

At speeds as high as 130 miles per hour, 22-year-old Elijah Akau attempted to outrun Ashburn Police, during what was supposed to be a routine traffic stop Monday morning. The chase ended near Cordele, at the Highway 300 exit on I-75, when Akau crashed his motorcycle into a GSP patrol car.

Akau was not hurt, but was taken to the Turner County Jail, where he is facing multiple charges, including attempting to elude police and reckless driving.
