Norman Park - Remember the giant pumpkins in Norman Park?

Grower Mike Moxley has hoisted them onto the scales and the biggest one weighed 477 pounds.

Combining that pumpkin with the other six in his front yard, the total weight is more than 2,200 pounds.

That's a lot of pumpkin pies and as Moxley says, a lot of hernias.

Moxley hopes to one day beat the state record of nearly 700 pounds.
