Lee County- Several dozen Democrats and politicians attended a rally for Earleen Sizemore, candidate for House seat 152, Howard Rainey candidate for Senate seat 13 .

Both are hoping their experience as former house representatives will put them over the top in November.

"With 14 years in the house, chairmanships of standing committees, serving on the committees such as appropriation, ways and means and education, if that doesn't count then I don't know what does," says Sizemore.

"I've had 26 years and some few months with experience in the house, for 21 years of that as I was chairman of a committee," Rainey says.

Sizemore will face representative Ed Rynders in November and Rainey will go up against Joseph Carter for the Senate 13 seat being vacated by Rooney Bowen.
