Cordele- A south Georgia couple needs your help to afford a funeral for their son killed in a fire.

Khari Frederick, 19, died yesterday when an extension cord shorted out and started a fire in his family's home in Cordele.

Khari's father, Gregory, is a school custodian. He has no insurance to replace their home. He hopes to bury his son Wednesday.

Family and friends set up an account at Planters First Bank in Cordele. If you'd like to make a donation, call 229-276-2470.
