Voters in Sumter County oust their sheriff

Sumter County -Former Deputy James Driver ousted incumbent Bob Ingle last night with fifty-nine percent of the vote.

"It's always hard when anybody goes against an incumbent so you never underestimate anybody. It makes me feel good that the people of Sumter county really came out, " explained Driver.

Driver will face republican Pete Smith and independent Nelson Brown in November.
