D.A., assistant D.A. will recover

Crisp County-- Dougherty District Attorney Ken Hodges and Chief Assistant Greg Edwards are expected to make full recoveries, after a serious car crash on Interstate 75 in Crisp County Tuesday.

Hodges is stable in the Critical Care Unit at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, after undergoing surgery to stitch up head wounds and remove glass.

Edwards is in fair condition in a private room at the same Macon hospital. He also suffered head injuries in the crash.

Early Tuesday afternoon, the SUV Hodges was driving hydroplaned into oncoming traffic near Cordele. It rolled several times, and five other cars and a tractor trailer were involved in the wreck. Hodges and Edwards were both ejected.
