Valdosta - Two governments joined forces to benefit one major charity.
Lowndes County and Valdosta City leaders are working together to promote the United Way's annual campaign which will begin later this month.
Today, officials signed pledge cards to show their support.
"We'll kick off the campaign later this month with he Day of Caring at /Wild Adventures. The campaign will last until the end of November," said Leigh Tolbert, Campaign Chairperson for the United Way.
Every year, the United Way raises money for 117 programs operated by 27 agencies in Lowndes County.
