Tifton- Monday night city and county leaders agreed to put a mixed drink referendum on the November ballot.

Voters on both sides of the issue say the referendum will definitely bring them out to the polls.

"I would spend my money on it personally, and we have a lot of college students, and I think it would make this town grow a lot. I'm going to vote yes, and I encourage other people to also," says Becky Kennedy.

"As Christians we do need to get out and vote, and we need to encourage all of our friends to vote no, and just vote it down," says Bonnie Clark.

Tift County voters defeated a similar referendum four years ago.
