Plains- Pfizer Inc. has launched a new program called Pfizer Pfriends.

The program provides discounts on drugs for anyone who does not already have insurance coverage for prescription drugs.

"Any uninsured person in this country can get our medications at a greatly reduced rate, up to 50% reduction depending on their income," says Deborah Smith-Callahan, Director of Public Relations for the company.
