Thomasville - Matt Carvin is putting on a concert to raise money for a group that helps disadvantaged and special needs people. Currently, he is working on his Master's in Music Performance at the Peabody Conservatory at John Hopkins University.

He started a project there called Creative Access, where classical musicians such as himself play for people with disabilities. Carvin says, "I think it's important to provide music to special needs audiences and this is a way that people can help make donations to an organization that is providing that medium for people."

The concert will be held at Thomasville on Stage and company, Sunday at 3PM. The event is donation driven, but an RSVP is required. Call 229-226-4686 for more information.
