Albany - The future is bright for the Darton College athletic program with the opening of their new physical education and wellness complex and the donation of $100,000 to the Cavalier athletic program.
The question is who will lead the Darton program with athletic director Nancy Abraham retires at the end of next month.
That questioned was answered Wednesday afternoon when Darton named Todd Davis athletic director and facilities manager of the new Physical Education, Athletic and Wellness Complex.
Todd Davis is currently the athletic director and associate vice president for student affairs at Carl Albert State College in Oklahoma.
Davis, who will begin his duties at Darton on September 7th, will take over the largest athletic program of any two year college in the state of Georgia.
Darton College has eight teams and will be looking to expand that number under the leadership of new athletic director Todd Davis.
