Darton sends more nurses into service

July 28, 2004

Albany- A nationwide nursing shortage will be helped by new Darton College graduates.

About 40 of Darton's nursing students went through the traditional pinning ceremony Wednesday. They survived five semester of coarse work and most of them won't have any trouble getting a job.

"You know, in the beginning you don't think you'll ever graduate or make it and we all want to be nurses so bad," said graduate Angela Anglin. "To finally get here, all our hard work paid off and we all really want to do this."

"I've finally done the hard work and now it's time to enjoy and actually get to do what I've been trained to do," said graduate Tim Hatcher.

Wednesday's graduates attended Darton's nursing program in Bainbridge.
