Lowndes County - South Georgia businesses are saying thank you to our military.
Airmen at Moody Air Force Base were treated to an appreciation fun fair Friday. More than 60 vendors were on hand to share information on what their businesses can offer the military.
"We don't have a lot of time to get out and about and with them coming here its a chance for us to know exactly what's in the Lowndes County community and what is available to us," said Staff Sergeant Johnny Fontenot.
This is the second year the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce has sponsored the fun fair as part of Salute to Military week.
