Albany - Valdosta's Ryan Parker shot a three-under par 69 to win the second annual Albany Junior Open by one shot.
Parker, who will play for Darton College this coming school year, made the turn at 33.
However, He got off to a tough start on the back nine with back to back bogeys on 10 and 11.
Parker rebounded by with consecutive birdies at 13 and 14 to get back to one over par for the tournament.
Ryan Parker shot 76-69 to finish the tournament with a total score of 145.
Parker's future college teammates Brandon Anthony and Michael Gordy both finished at 146 and both had chances to force a playoff.
Anthony just missed a seven foot eagle putt at 17 and Gordy's bid for birdie stopped on the rim of the hole at 18.
Anthony and Gordy went to a sudden death playoff to determine second place that Anthony won with a birdie on the third hole.
Besides the coveted first place trophy, Ryan Parker also wins a $750 college scholarship and Anthony wins a $500 scholarship.
In the 14-15 division, Evan Hanna shot a 72 for a second straight day to finish at 144 and beats Kyle Goff by six shots.
Goff, who shot a 67 on Monday, struggled with an 83 and Ryan Johnson won a playoff over Ashton Pellicano for third.
First round leader Brad Germany won the 12-13 division with a score of 158 with Taylor Cooksey and Matt McDonald placing second and third.
One name to watch is 11-year old John Howard from Columbus.
Howard, who shot 38 on the front nine Monday, shot even par 36 on the back nine Tuesday to win the 9-11 title.
Hunter Ivins, who shot a 39 on Monday, finished second and Grey Noterman placed third.
