Mitchell---A Mitchell County family may never know what started the fire that destroyed their home. This mobile home on Orr Road caught fire Saturday afternoon, burning to the ground within minutes. Joseph Moore and his family were next door at a family reunion, when they noticed fire billowing from their home.

"He was trying to save anything he could I told them get him out of there because you can get another house but you can't get another body," says Moore's cousin Susie Huff.

Family members believe the fire may have started from an iron left on, but firefighters have not confirmed that. The Moores did not insurance. Contact Susie Huff in Worth County to donate to the family.
