July 17, 2004

Albany- The 21 year veteran with the Albany Police Department held a meet and greet with voters.

Not only did he feed them, but he also welcomed their questions about his plans for fiscal responsibility and change with in the sheriff's department.

"The purpose really is to show the community that I've been there for you, I'm going to continue to be there for you. It's not because of the election. It's because I was born and raised in Dougherty County, and I'm going to give back to Dougherty County what has been given to me," he says.

Williams will face Dougherty County sheriff Jamil Saba in Tuesday's primary.
