Baker County -Tonight one south Georgia family has virtually nothing. A lightning-sparked fire destroyed their home and everything inside it.

Flames shot out of the home on Nonami Plantation near the Dougherty county, Baker county line. William Ellis, Junior and his family weren't home. His father had a stroke yesterday and they were visiting him in the hospital. Ellis lived in the home for twenty-nine years. He says the fire left nothing behind for him and his family. "Everything I owned was right there in that house I don't have anything but the clothes on my back now. My wife, my daughter my little grand baby just got the clothes on his back," explained Ellis. There aren't any fire hydrants in the area. Firefighters had to refill their tanks several times from a farmer's well but they weren't able to save the home.
