Valdosta - We now know the name of the man killed in an accident on Interstate 75 Wednesday night.
Forty-nine year old Carl Pompey of Auburndale Florida was driving a truck filled with watermelons southbound near exit 32 when he was struck from behind by a tractor trailer. He died instantly.
The driver of the tractor trailer, 42-year-old Braulio Burgos of Orlando, wasn't seriously injured.
