Moultrie-- A state inmate is under investigation, after a woman says he raped her in a bathroom at the Colquitt County courthouse.
The 30 year-old woman told sheriff deputies inmate Taquawn Pollard grabbed her in the courthouse hall, pulled her into a bathroom, and raped her Friday morning.
Pollard was on work detail at the courthouse grounds. He admitted to having sex with the woman but says it was consensual. There was no sign of struggle and no one in the courthouse heard any screaming or fighting.
No charges have been filed against Pollard, who remains at the Colquitt County Correctional Institution.
