Crisp County-- If you were in Cordele this week it's a pretty safe bet you tasted a slice of watermelon. Saturday was the last of day the city's annual Water Melon Days Festival, a 3 week party of the Water Melon.
Farmer, Ralph Hall brought some gigantic watermelons to the festival in hopes to again win the title for biggest watermelon in the State.
"The two on the back end weigh 138 pounds, one weighed 128 and the other one, I think weighed 118," says Hall.
Hall says he currently holds the record for growing Georgia's largest watermelon that weighted in at 178 pounds.
