Turner County -- The two robbers told a man working outside of Bethel Baptist Church they were headed to Atlanta and needed money for gas. When the worker said he couldn't help they pulled a gun and demanded his wallet and car keys.

The men then took off south on the interstate. But they didn't get far. Deputies in Lowndes County arrested Jamal Collins and Maurice Bailey.

"Everybody worked together and it all paid off," says Turner County Sheriff Randy Kendrick.

Both men are in the Turner County jail on armed robbery charges.
