Supreme Court Candidate visits S. Georgia

July 8, 2004

Cairo - Grant Brantley served three terms as a Superior Court Judge in Cobb county. He says Georgia's high court needs to change.

Brantley says Judges need to interpret not re-write the laws. He says, "I believe Georgians in this area, just like Georgians everywhere outside the doughnut of Atlanta are basically good, hardworking common since values, that's what I have."

Brantley is challenging Justice Leah Sears in the non-partisan race. If elected, Brantley would be the only Justice not initially appointed to the court.
