Tift County-- The manhunt continues for the man police believed murdered a Tifton woman. Police are searching for 31 year-old Waylon Hosenbeck. Investigators believe Hosenbeck murdered 76 year-old Mary Hancock. Her body was found in some woods near Chula Tuesday.

Police say Mary Hancock was once a friend of the suspect but she filed charges against him in early June after he stole money and checks from her home. Police believe Hosenbeck is driving the victims 2001 silver Toyota Avalon license number 8-9-9-E-A-J.

Police say Hosenbeck should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. If you have any information call the Tift County Sheriff's Department or the Tifton Police.
