Worth County- What Worth County investigators thought may have been a homicide, turned out to be a suicide.

Clinton Thomas Porter, 51, was arguing with his wife Leona in their home off of Henry Road.

She ran out of the house and heard two gun shots, then called 911.

"She said that he shot at her and she left running down toward Henry Road and she heard another shot," said Sheriff Freddie Thompkins.

Deputies found Porter in his yard. Mrs. Porter's brother was the only other person in the home and he was not hurt.
