Tift County -- Investigators believe an elderly Tifton woman was murdered by a family friend. Investigators are looking for 31-year old Walyon Holsenbeck. Thursday afternoon they took out a warrant charging him with the murder of 76-year-old Mary Hancock.

Her body was found in some woods near Chula Tuesday Night. Deputies say Holsenback should be considered armed and dangerous. The victim's relatives say they're still in shock.

"Mother is not old for her age and the thought of losing her at the time never crossed our mind at the time,"says Jackie Shaddix the victim's daughter.

Walyon HolsenBeck is 5'11, 190 pounds with hazel eyes.

Investigators believe he may be driving the murder victim's 2001 silver Toyota Avalon with license number 8-9-9-E-A-J. If you have any information call Tift County Sheriff's Department.
