Albany- The Albany Museum of Art will be represented at a prestigious program in California.

Museum director Aaron Berger is one of 35 people chosen worldwide to be a part of the training program in Los Angeles.

He leaves next week and will spend nearly a month attending the Museum Leadership Institute at The Getty Center.

"We're an accredited museum that is the only accredited museum within a hundred miles of Albany, but we don't serve a 100 mile radius, so how do we do that? This training will help us figure that out."

Berger has been the director of the Albany Museum of Art since 2002.
