Marietta-- Forty-one-year old Cliff Oxford says he's the best chance Georgia has of putting a Democrat back in the U.S. Senate.
Democrat Cliff Oxford is the youngest of 12 candidates in the U.S. Senate race in Georgia. Oxford says his successful business skills will make him an effective senator.
The Waycross native is now a successful entreprenur in Marietta, the owner of STI Knowledge Inc.
Oxford is running on common campaign issues, job creation, homeland security, education, ecology, health care, social security and medicare. But he says his innovative approach to business will make him a good senator.
Oxford expanded his business into Americus which created 150 jobs and says he decided to run for Senate after being encouraged by former President Jimmy Carter and others.
Cliff Oxford regards himself as a problem solver rather than a politician.
