Mr. Marion Gerald Jernigan, of Albany, went home to be with his Lord, Thursday, June 24, 2004. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 11:00 AM at Kimbrell-Stern, with interment at 3:00 PM at Tift Memorial Park in Tifton.
Born in Ocilla, Mr. Jernigan had lived in Albany most of his life. He was a 1962 graduate of Albany High School, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Jernigan, Albany; a sister, Diana Statham, Lee County; nieces: Starla Brokamp and her husband David, Lee County, Summer Statham, Lee County, Amber Statham, Lee County; and a great-nephew, Dillion Brokamp.
