Albany -- A Dougherty County minister says he wants to bring better discipline to Dougherty County schools. That is why Dr. Henry Brown said he is running for the at-large seat on the school board.

Head minister of the House of Prayer by Faith Church, Dr. Brown said his years of counseling children make him want to work to improve schools. Dr. Brown said "When I say educate, I don't mean only in math, reading, and writing. But also in respect, discipline, teaching them to behave and respect authority, and stay out of trouble."

Dr. Brown said he wants fairness for all Dougherty County school employees.

Brown will oppose incumbent Dr. Richard Anson for the School Board at-large seat in the July 20th Democratic Primary.
