Albany- Dozens of participants were eager to show off their hot rods during the Wallace Chevrolet Car Show.
Nearly every participant took a trophy, but it would be Bill Dismuke and his 1964 Ford Thunderbolt that would take home top honors for cars made before 1974.
"Ford made 100 of them in 1964, especially for drag racing, and there are probably 40 or 50 of them left. Most of them are in museums or private collections," he says.
Dismuke has owned the car twice. Once when he raced it in the 60's and just three years ago he became it's proud owner again when he bought it from a museum in North Carolina.
