Valdosta - A man wanted for murder in North Georgia was arrested in Valdosta.

Police think 23-year-old Sanyo Elvie stabbed his wife's cousin in Duluth on Monday. Authorities in Duluth got a tip that he was headed from Marietta to Miami on a Greyhound bus and had a layover in Valdosta Tuesday night. They notified Valdosta police who arrested Elvie at the bus station. "We located him near the front of the bus and asked him to step off the bus and we positively identified him and he was arrested based off that warrant," said Lt. Brian Childress.

Elvie is in the Lowndes County Jail charged with murder and is awaiting extradition back to Duluth.
