Moultrie - A man accused of cutting a woman with a pocket knife is now behind bars.

Thirty-seven-year-old Johnny Ben Sims, Junior, was arrested for stabbing his ex-girlfriend, 27-year-old Corene Florence in Moultrie.

Florence was cut once on her stomach and her face was slashed. She was treated and released from the hospital.

Sims was caught in Worth County and is charged with aggravated battery and terroristic threats.
