Albany - Albany State football coach Mike White and his staff are all business when they step on the practice field.
For the next three days, coach White is hoping to have a little fun while teaching a little football.
The second annual Mike White football camp kicked off Thursday morning on the Albany State practice field.
The rookie camp, for kids 8-12, teaches the basic fundamentals of all areas of football.
The veterans camp breaks the 13-18 year olds into groups based on positions.
Backs and receivers are honing their talents in the skills skills camp and in the linemen camp focuses on not only the fundamentals of play at the line of scrimmage but also teaching the big guys how to get faster and stronger.
Coach White wants to not only the kids to leave his camp better football players but he also wants them to have had a good time.
MikeWhite said "We just are talking having fun, safety, a little skills, fundamentals about football and how to play it. Whatever technique may help you in the fall be a better player."
One coach working the camp that is not on the Albany State staff is Philadelphia Eagles offensive line coach Juan Castillo.
The Mike White football camp will run through Saturday.
